How will employment look in 2030? 2035? What are the trends driving labor and employment now? What will the future trends be and what difference will they make? What must the College’s labor and employment lawyers be prepared for over the next five to ten years, as they help their clients navigate the fast-changing labor and employment environment?
As the College of Labor and Employment Lawyers celebrates its 30th anniversary, join us for a forward-looking conversation about the forces shaping the next era of work.
The program features renowned futurist Ian Beacraft, the Honorable Jonathan Berry (Solicitor of Labor, U.S. Department of Labor), and Brian Bryant (IAM International President). The Future of Employment will explore how technology and other emerging developments could transform employment in the years ahead.
Bringing together perspectives from a futurist, the federal government and organized labor, the program will consider what these changes may mean for the workplace and the likely questions facing labor and employment practitioners. It’s an opportunity for Fellows to look beyond today’s developments and consider the future of the profession together.
