Priya Kamath

Harvard Law School

Priya is a third-year student at Harvard Law School, where she is an Article Selection Editor of the Harvard Civil Rights-Civil Liberties Law Review and chaired the Student Government’s Diversity & Inclusion Committee. Prior to law school, she graduated summa cum laude from the University of Florida with a degree in Economics and worked as a litigation assistant and diversity, equity, and inclusion program manager at Earthjustice. Priya would like to recognize Professor Kenneth Mack for his invaluable guidance and encouragement in writing this article, and her parents, Prakash and Vinaya, who instilled in her a sense of worker justice.

Megan Hauptman

Yale Law School in May 2021

Megan graduated from Yale Law School in May 2021. During law school, Megan focused her studies on immigration, criminal, civil rights, and employment law. She was an editor for the Yale Law and Policy Review, participated in several law school clinics, and served as a research assistant to professors on prisoners’ rights and immigration issues. Prior to law school, she worked as a paralegal for a public defenders office. She is currently serving as a law clerk to the Honorable Diana Saldaña in the Southern District of Texas.

Nick Martiniano

Penn State Law in University Park

Nick Martiniano is a third-year student at Penn State Law in University Park. His passion for workers’ rights stems from his own union-membership in Actors’ Equity Association and has continued into his law school career, which has presented opportunities to work in Labor Law, Employment Law, Employee Benefits Law, and, most recently, Workers’ Compensation. During law school, he has worked with MidPenn Legal Services during his 1L summer, completed an externship with Stember, Cohn, & Davidson-Welling during his second year, and, most recently, completed a Peggy Browning Fellowship with New York State United Teachers (NYSUT).  During his third year, he has continued with NYSUT as a law clerk, he serves as the Executive Editor of Intellectual Property and Online Media for the Penn State Law Review, and he is a member of Penn State Law’s Civil Rights Appellate Clinic. Nick would like to thank his wife and children for their unending support. For Solidarity!
